I can't remember what Blendy is exactly but it has a great name.

This is the bullet train. It's not the best picture ever but it's still kinda cool.

Everyone loves some good ol' hair rope.

I say again.

This was at a shrine or something (can't remember exactly what) in Kyoto.

My family at the shrine thing not paying attention.

There is a HUGE shrine thing inside that building.

This is a cool lamp like thing.

Jeremy looks slightly evil here.

This is a crazy fountain with a dragon on it.

Jeremy is pretending to be the crazy dragon.

They build the biggest buildings.

All their old buildings and doorways and stuff are crazy elaborate.

In Soviet Russia, you do not live, life lives you. Apparently that's true for Japan too.

I don't know what is up with this box-dude but he was pretty awesome. I found him in the post office.

This is a mail box. It is also the coolest mailbox ever.

First of many random street shots. This one is from Kyoto.

This is a cool music shop I saw.

This is a Pachinko place. They are wicked loud. Jeremy says that gambling is illegal so you go and play and win these little silver balls and then you trade those in for prizes and go next door and sell your prizes.

Watch for men walking in hats.

This drink looks disgusting but it is so happy!

You can buy soft serve ice cream at 7-11

So I bought one! Did I mention that in Japan it's 7 and i holdings?

I'm not sure what this is but it's special.

Japanese food is happy food.

I don't know what a safety station is but 7-11 is one. It's gotta be good with a mascot like that!

Did I mention the number of random street shots?

Japanese castles look way different than how you picture a castle.

Castles are big.

And pointy?

I'm not sure what these are but they have a sign and some kids on a field trip (at least I think they were on a field trip) were taking pictures of them so I figured I should too.

It's a tree!

More trees?

I wish I could have taken pictures inside. It was really cool with these fake people showing you what the different rooms were for. I don't know what they have against chairs.

This place was pretty huge.

This could just be telling you where the bathrooms are but I have no way of knowing that for sure.

They have pretty gardens at Japanese castles.

Did I mention this place was huge?

Like I said they had pretty gardens.

These are crazy plants.

Jeremy, my mom, and I in front of some plants.

More of the crazy plants.

It's a bridge thing.

The view from the bridge.

I'm not actually entirely sure what is in this picture. I do know that it's still at the castle.

Again, not really sure.

The other side of the bridge.

I took a ton of pictures at this place.

A place that gives you a view of most of the castle.

There were a ton of stairs up to that place with the view. LOOK AT ALL THE STAIRS.

I think this is a shrine at the castle.

Picture of the family on the bridge.

Check out these crazy trees.

This was originally a shogun's retirement home until he died and it was turned into a shrine. It's covered in gold leaf.

It's very shiny.

They have the BEST "pardon our dust" type signs.

They throw coins at a circle of rocks instead of fountains.

I'm really bad at remembering what I took pictures of.

You ring the giant bell/gong thing and then pray.

They leave robes in hotel rooms for it!

"Please choose it among each item one by one" with room service directions like that you can't go wrong.

The good night switch is ON, HOORAY!

I really want to know what kind of play on words empty is.

Crazy big eyed fish in this mall

A picture of the mall. They had EVERYTHING.

Jeremy and Kieko at the karaoke bar.

Did you know that the drinking age in Japan is 20?

Singing with a guy Jeremy works with and his sister.

This is Ahkihabra(sp?) it is like the electronics mecca!

Papa Crepe. That's right, crepes sold out of a van. I really wanted one.

This place was crazy crowded. I bought a swatch for 20 bucks though.

This is the first Jband I saw.

They were great considering the guy with the megaphone right next to them. Although they had a serious lack of drummer.

It's what we have all been waiting for! Sweets has come!

This is the high end shopping district in Tokyo

This is the worlds tinniest elevator. We took it up to the worlds coolest guitar shop. I almost bought like three guitars, no joke.

This is downtown Tokyo. There were a TON of people. It was crazy!

Luckily at this point I had already come to terms with the fact that I would, no matter how hard I tried not to, get lost in Japan.

This is Tokyo at night, and some dude in a yellow hat.

Another, blurrier, picture of Tokyo at night.

This is the OWND cafe. I couldn't resist. We found this while trying to find out way to the park with all the Jbands. I'm so glad we got off at the wrong stop.

So we found the park and this cool drum group. Outside of the picture was this guy dancing like crazy. The black guy with the dreds was the only one looking like he was having any fun what-so-ever. Jeremy and I were trying to figure out which of the guys the lone chick was dating. She's the one in the leather jacket in front of that big green thing. She played the cow bell.

These are the worst 50's dancers ever. But they looked like they where having so much fun!

This is the drummer and bassist of this one band I found. They are pretty great. I got a free CD from them.

I got a free hug!

Who doesn't love free hugs?

Check out these crazy Lolita chicks. The one on the left had so many hair clips and crap in her hair you almost couldn't see her hair!

I don't know what was up with these dudes but they were all about taking pictures with people. The one on the left seemed to think I had the best pants ever.

They put flowers on the tables at the Freshness Burger. Freshness Burger is Japan's answer to American fast food places. It was a little crazy, also they had run out of burgers.

Hold it in your hand, love it in your tummy! These were the most wonderfully delicious crepes I have ever had. Who knew that the Japanese were so good at French food?

Do I really need to say anything here? "Delicious Potato"

This is C.C. Lemon. It is basically carbonated lemonade, it has the vitamin C of 77 lemons! Wow.
More coming soon!
