Two day's of work thus far and all seems to be going well. Often I want to smack the woman training me upside the head. The seller manager or whatever his title is should try to be a little more flamboyant I think. Overall I think this will work out well, and at very least simply work. It's nice to not have to worry about money (even if I haven't been paid yet, at least I know it's coming). I asked yesterday about hair color and apparently they couldn't care less. Super-crazy-red highlight-ish-streaks here I come. =) They have a bookcase in the back room of early release titles that we can take home to keep or whatever. I'm only supposed to take two at a time so I did that today and going to take another on Monday. Most of the books there at the moment and sleazy romance novels (although there is one of those that actually looks kinda good) but there are a couple books that have potential and a few that someone might like but just aren't my cup of tea (assassins, vampires, ect, ect, ect).
We went out to dinner at a hibachi place the other night. The guy across the table ordered lobster. Well when they cool lobster they bring it in this big lid and dump it on the table. This was very sudden and these two big lobsters staring at me really startled me. The chef put the lid over them and a little bit later took off the lid. THEY WERE MOVING! My mom freaked. My dad said since they were cold when they were killed the muscles were contracting and whatever. The guy who ordered them (who was very drunk) turns to a guy with him and says really loudly "GOD! Why would you order such a thing?!". It was pretty funny.
We went to a bunch of open houses today. At this one I was talking to this woman (she asked me what grade I was in) and it came that she is from Florida. He brother in law lives in BFE aka Middleburg which is just crazy! At least I thought it was. =)
It's a little crazy how often I indirectly burn myself with my straightener. I'll straighten a piece
of hair and then pick it up again immediately and it burns my finger. This can't be good for my hair.
For those of you that know Daniel and I very well will know that we haven't always and don't always get along. We did however get along when we were little (and now when we don't live to close to each other). I'm reminded a lot here of this time when we were little. We must have been living in Virginia. There was this huge wooded area behind our house and one day Daniel and I went exploring. We basically walked in a straight line away from the house but still. Every so often he would stop, have me sit on a fallen tree or something, and go ahead to "make sure it is safe". I don't know why I remember this so vividly, and I only seem to remember it happening once, but it is one of those few things from when we were little that we really, really got along and everything.
I just clicked the "save now" button and everything disapeared for a few seconds. I was going to be REALLY pissed if I lost this whole post.
Everyone should go watch this video. It makes me smile all the time and my mom and I quote it constantly.
I guess that's all for tonight.

Oh my god that is so adorable (and I want a snail! Why are snails so cool, and slugs so gross, even though snails are just slugs with shells?).
