Leaving on a jet plane

So I had all these things I wanted to talk about in this really long blog to tide you over till I return but I ran out of time. I'm sorry. I'll include all of it when I get back I promise. Along with that there will be one MASSIVE picture post. You should all be excited, I know I am.

Another typical update

So I've been working for about a week now. It's going well. It took all of one night to figure out the inner workings of another cash register. It's the third one I've used, of course none of them work the same way. On Friday night while straightening the bargin section I found a hard back copy of Anansi Boys for only 5.99. It's in perfect condition except for a wrinkle at one edge of the dust cover. Just enough for us to not be able to sell it for full price. With my discount I got it for just over four bucks. I spent all day today finishing Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk (all kinds of messed up, if his other stuff is the same I am giving up on him) so I could start reading some more Neil Gaiman. He is quickly becoming my favorite author.

The other day I bought Raving Rabbits for my Wii. It is super fun. The only thing is I can't figure out how to get to/unlock the multi-player games. It is quite frustrating since one of the main reasons I wanted it is so I could have more multi-player options. While writing this I got distracted by searching for information about a release date for individual Guitar Hero guitars. I found almost nothing on that front but I did find some other interesting things. One is on the 20th they are releasing a wireless adapter for the nunchuck. I always kind of wondered why it wasn't wireless in the first place. I also, much to my dismay, found out that the Wii is not region free so I can't get Wii Fit while I'm in Japan.

I got my new glasses a couple days ago. They are pretty freaking awesome. I'll post a picture as soon as I have one.

I love how on all medical shows whenever someone starts to code they give you a great shot of the monitors and all the numbers turn in the big, red, flashing question-marks. It's like in case you are too stupid to figure out what's going on here the person is dying!
